Founded in 1923, The Junior League of Columbus (JLC) is part of a global network of 297 Junior Leagues. We are a community of women dedicated to making a meaningful impact through volunteer work, leadership development, and collaboration.
Why Join The Junior League of Columbus?
When you join The Junior League of Columbus, you’ll gain hands-on experience and training in areas like:
- Communication and branding
- Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB)
- Fundraising skills
- Governance and leadership
- Community impact strategies
- League history and traditions
- Organizational management
You’ll also:
- Build lifelong friendships through small group socials and events
- Volunteer on impactful community service projects
- Participate in exciting fundraisers
- Learn about nonprofit operations
- Attend membership meetings that develop civic leadership skills
- Gain access to a network of passionate women leaders
And if you move, you can transfer your membership to any of our Leagues worldwide!
Membership Requirements
To join, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old by June 30 of the year you join (no maximum age!)
- Live in the Central Ohio area
- Have an interest in volunteering and community service
- Be excited about developing leadership skills and making a difference
- Pay yearly membership dues
