International Find the Good Day: A Celebration of Compassion, Community, and Positive Change

Find the Good Day is a global movement rooted in the values of The Junior League. It’s not just a day—it’s a call to action that reflects our century-long legacy of kindness, empowerment, and transformational community leadership. Each year in September, Leagues and their communities unite to spread hope, uplift others, and ignite a chain reaction of goodwill.

You don’t have to be a Junior League Member to participate in Find the Good Day. This day is for everyone! Use it as an opportunity to focus on the good in your community. While it’s easy to point out the negatives, today is a day to shine a light on the positives around us. It’s time to uplift others and take action to make a difference. Today is a day for good deeds, spreading kindness, and making a positive impact in your community. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, volunteering at a local charity, or simply offering a kind word, every act of goodwill contributes to the greater good. 

How The Community Participated in 2025

Feel-Good Essentials Drive for Franklin County Children Services – While everyday necessities like shampoo, conditioner, razors, and cleaning products are always appreciated by Franklin County Children Services, we selected items from their needs list that bring a little more joy to daily life. The Kelton House offered free tours with donations. For more information about tours at the Kelton House Museum and Garden, visit their website.

Kindness Calendar – What can you do to make someone’s day better today? We created a calendar of kindness to spark some inspiration! Spread joy, kindness, and love however you desire. We loved what you, your family, and your friends are doing to find the good, do the good, and be the good! Look out for some social media posts to engage with.

Giveback Fundraiser – We celebrated how we spread kindness, positivity, and making a difference in our communities with Seventh Son Brewing Co. With the mention of “Find the Good Day” when ordering, $1 of every beer or Kitty Paw seltzer went back to the Junior League of Columbus.

Additional Ways Our Members Participated in 2025

Yellow Ribbon Rose Pins – These pins were a symbol of our shared commitment to kindness and community and were worn throughout the month of September at our various events.

Happy Bags for Huckleberry House – Thank you to our Sustainers for participating in their own Find the Good Day project. Happy Bags filled with inspirational items were given to therapy clients at Huckleberry House.

Kindness Cards – In addition to the Kindness Calendar, members shared small cards to pass along with their acts of kindness to encourage a chain of good deeds.

Social Media Campaign – We painted our personal social media pages with the brightest pinks, yellows, oranges, and purples to spread awareness of Find the Good Day utilizing Facebook and Instagram banners and profile picture frames. Members also highlighted the positive impact the Junior League has had on their personal journey and the community.
