What is C.O.D.E. Day?

Since the early 1990s, the seven Ohio Junior Leagues have come together annually to host C.O.D.E. Day—a collaborative day of learning, growth, and connection. C.O.D.E. stands for Connect, Ohio, Develop, and Educate, capturing the spirit and purpose of this enriching event.

The participating Junior Leagues are: the Junior League of Akron, Junior League of Cincinnati, Junior League of Cleveland, Junior League of Columbus, Junior League of Dayton, Junior League of Toledo, Junior League of Mahoning Valley, and Junior League of Stark County.

Each year, the responsibility of hosting rotates alphabetically among the Leagues. The host League curates the day’s programming, which typically includes:

• A featured guest speaker presenting on a topic relevant to leadership, community impact, or personal development

• A fun and engaging team-building or icebreaker activity

• A chance for each League to share highlights and accomplishments from the past year

C.O.D.E. Day offers a powerful opportunity for Junior League members across the state to unite, learn from one another, and celebrate the collective impact of our work in Ohio communities. The next C.O.D.E. Day will be hosted by Cincinnati on March 28, 2026. The Junior League of Columbus will host in 2028.
